Chairman’s Message & Expertise
Mr. Samim H. Ubaid Al-Anebi, Founder and Chairman of Future Bank for Finance and Investment, is a distinguished lawyer and member of the Iraqi Bar Association, combining deep legal insight with more than two decades of leadership in Iraq’s banking and private-sector development.
After studying and living in Switzerland, Germany, and the United States, he returned to Iraq in 2003 and played a pivotal role in building the Economy Bank for Investment and Finance, expanding it from inception to more than 65 branches nationwide. Under his leadership, the bank became one of Iraq’s top four private banks.
In 2015, Mr. Al-Anebi received the national “Chairman of the Year” award for outstanding contributions to Iraq’s private banking sector. He introduced the first ATM machine in Iraq and pioneered several innovations — including the early adoption of biometric fingerprint verification for banking security and digital identity.
Today, from Dubai, he leads Future Bank – Global with a clear vision to connect Iraq’s financial future with the global economy through digital transformation, legal compliance, and transparent innovation. His multidisciplinary expertise — in law, finance, and corporate governance — defines the institution’s integrity and modern reform-oriented approach.

Bank License & Regulatory Framework
Futer Bank for Finance and Investment (registered in Arabic as “Al-Mustaqbal Bank for Investment and Finance”) is formally licensed by the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) as a non-Islamic commercial institution. Future Bank – Global operates as the international representation and development platform of the licensed bank. Supporting documentation is available to authorized institutions upon formal request and under confidentiality (NDA).
Digital Banking Vision
Future Bank – Global is developing the foundation for Iraq’s first regulated digital currency and blockchain-based payment system. This initiative — known as the National Digital Dinar — will promote transparency, reduce corruption risks, and integrate Iraq into the next generation of global finance.
Infrastructure & Development Projects
As part of Iraq’s modernization efforts, Future Bank – Global supports and structures strategic infrastructure and aviation initiatives, including the Suwaira Airport Project, envisioned as a central logistics and cargo hub connecting Baghdad with the Gulf and Europe. The project reflects Iraq’s potential as a regional trade and transit center built on international standards and sustainable development principles.
